Voter's Choice Act
The County of Sacramento was one of the first five counties in California to implement the Voter’s Choice Act in 2018, expanding voting opportunities for all residents. All active, registered voters will automatically receive a ballot in the mail and voters can choose to return their ballot by mail (no postage required), return their ballot at a designated Official Ballot Drop Box location or Vote Center, or vote in-person at any Vote Center in Sacramento County.
